Wow! No one wanted to see the end of the Xwave boot, but now the Impact 9 has surpassed all expectations. Like the Falcon last year, the Impact line fits like a glove. It's more anatomical providing a boot that becomes an extension of your body to ski all day. The flat seal design really improves the wrap of the foot, increases the vertical toe space and makes for a more waterproof boot. The "energyzer" has created a progressive and responsive flex, in keeping with the modern shaped ski.

Everyone has an opinion on this boot. The first thing is that it only has 2 buckles - that's right, only two buckles. Take a closer look at the power strap, its 55mm wide. So who is this boot for? The answer may surprise. It was designed as a Freestyle boot for the park and pipe and yes, it works great there too! However the same benefits can be applied to many of us everyday.

The boot has a large toe box area yet looses no ankle holding ability, tongue cushioning and is 20% lighter with a new Internal Spaceframe. All this and it has a flex to charge the whole mountain.
